Sundown presents Two Little Ducks: Matt Abbott’s one man show

Why did so many working class families vote ‘Leave’?  How can we ignore a humanitarian crisis just 22 miles away?  And will anything actually ever change for Maria?  Matt Abbott powerfully captures the summer that changed everything in this personal and political spoken word journey.

Matt Abbott began performing spoken word in 2006, since then Matt went on to sell out his debut show ‘Matt Abbott is Skint & Demoralised’ at the

Edinburgh Festival in 2015 earning 5* in Broadway Baby.  Matt is known for his activism and work with the homeless, he is a young poet concerned with the current state of our world and how we choose to treat it.  He’s shared the stage with artists ranging from Sleaford Mods to Ken Loach.  A regular at festivals on the spoken word scene, Matt performed at Sundown Arts earlier on in the year and a friendship was born.

We are proud to present Matt’s successful one-man show; Two Little Ducks, “an artist with something to say, who knows how to say it” quotes
