Sundown is coming to the John Peel Centre in Stowmarket on Sat, 30th Nov with our Arts On The Road tour – where we feature 6 fantastic artists for the affordable price of £5, to celebrate turning 10 years old! Not only will there be live music, each one completely different to the next, there is also witty spoken word and a mini-theatre performance. We’re also giving away free 2nd hand books in our SWOOK (where we ask you to bring along your unwanted books and swap with ours, for free!), free Sundown Arts stickers as well as merchandise available to buy from our new Sundown Gift Shop! All this for £5?!? So what are you waiting for – to pre-order tickets just contact either www.johnpeelcentreforcreativearts.co.uk or email@example.com then all you have to do is pay on the door. This will be the last leg of our tour, boooo! So come and see us before it all ends, sniff.
To get the low-down on each of our artists performing, just visit the rest of our Arts On The Road tour diary/posts. We’ll be giving you the unique words & uke/Casio keys of Liz Bentley, the cutting edge Essex theatre broads Old Trunk, the magnificent Americana sounds of M G Boulter, ending with the enigmatic energy of Ed Rome. Your compere and host for the evening will be Sundown’s Artistic Director, Jo Overfield. The night has gone down brilliantly so far in Colchester, Norwich, and Peterborough, audiences have been blown away by the incredible diverse talent we’ve selected for the tour.
Any money spent on tickets goes towards Sundown surviving, it is a non-profit arts organisation run by volunteers with support using public funding from the National Lottery and Arts Council England for this particular project. So come and celebrate with us on the 30th! Show us what you’ve got Suffolk!
